The 2018 Gangnam Ice Festival

Gangnam Ice Festival is a Korean festival involving various performers that have mastered the art of ice skating. The ice festival is held every year in January to mark the beginning of winter. This year's festival is being held in Seoul and will feature performances by artists such as PSY and HyunA. You can check out more information about the event by reading on.

HyunA's latest single is up there at #2

HyunA is a Korean singer who is known for her signature animated rap style. She is one of the first breakout stars in the K-pop industry. In 2012, she appeared in the popular music video, "강남아이스 Style" alongside PSY.

Since then, HyunA has released seven mini albums as a solo artist. She is also a member of girl group 4Minute. Despite her popularity, she has never strayed from her original self.

While she has done her own thing musically, HyunA has always been a vocal advocate for mental health. She has spoken out against new beginnings and infantilization of female idols.

HyunA's latest single, "Party, Feel, Love," continues the R&B theme of her earlier work, including "Show Window." The track features a slow-tempo melody and resonating instrumentals. Her soft vocals and seductive tone continue to add a sensual feeling.

PSY's Gangnam Style

In the winter of 2018, Korean Pop superstar PSY's hit "Gangnam Style" was played in the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The video was a big hit, racking up more than one billion YouTube views and becoming one of the most popular videos ever uploaded to the site.

After the viral success of "Gangnam Style", Korean Pop became a global phenomenon. Psy was the first Korean artist to perform at the ceremony, and he was also the first to perform at the ceremony in six years.

Now, the K-pop sensation is making waves in the United States. Four members of Blackpink were given ambassadorships by major brands, and they performed at Coachella and the White House.

Several South Korean acts, such as BTS and Blackpink, were already household names, but the pop phenom Psy has soared to new heights in the US. His hit single "Gangnam Style" is one of the most watched YouTube videos of all time, and he is the world's most successful Korean artist today.

Magnum pop-up store

Magnum, a luxury ice cream brand, is making a splash with their first ever pop-up store. The ice cream brand has partnered with fashion designer Holly Fulton and celebrity nail artist Mei Kawajiri.

They will be unveiling two new ice cream bars. One will be inspired by the Duets Bar, while the other will be an ice cream bar with an innovative dip. In addition, they will be introducing a new ice cream called Double Dipped Duet. These bars are a fun way to customize your ice cream and take a trip into the Instagrammable world of ice cream.

Magnum has also collaborated with Australian accessories brand, The Daily Edited, to create a special iPhone case capsule collection. Designed to match the brand's luxury ice cream, this limited-edition case will be available in stores and online.

Le Chamber speakeasy

There is a new ol' fashioned speakeasy gracing the streets of Gangnam. This is actually a bar and restaurant, but the owners are a pair of boozehounds. The gin and tonic is the standard, and the cocktail list includes several cocktails crafted in-house. Some of the more memorable drinks include the whiskey and berry martini, a good old fashioned whiskey sour and the Ginseng Martini.

Le Chamber ain't cheap, but the quality of the drink is second to none. The menu is a veritable treasure trove, with a plethora of cocktails on offer. As for the liquor, the list is topped off by a few whiskies and a few rums. You'll also find a number of spirits and a slew of beers. A bottle storage facility for VIPs is another plus.

Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival

Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice Festival is Korea's biggest annual winter festival, drawing more than one million visitors each year. It offers various activities such as ice fishing, snow sledding, ice sculptures, and ice racing.

The festival takes place in January. Visitors can choose from different packages. The package includes round-trip transportation and English/Chinese-speaking guides. Aside from the activities, the festival also features food zones and cultural exhibitions.

Hwacheon is famous for its clear water stream. In winters, the stream freezes, forming a thick layer of ice that makes it popular for ice fishing. Many locals and tourists enjoy catching sancheoneo, a type of trout. During the Hwacheon Sancheoneo Ice festival, you can try ice bobsleighing, ice fishing, and bare hand fishing.

Visitors can also try sled rides down the slopes and snowball fights. There is also a biplane that can take you over the frozen stream.
